Why transparent prices?

Baukasten is a part-time project where quality, sustainability, and community are consistently at the heart of our work. These principles impact the price, for example, because we source sustainable materials, pay our helpers fairly, and prefer to do less but do it well.

• Total costs for sale 1x Mini (equipped): 36 EUR
  


• With a regular selling price of 45 EUR, approximately 9 EUR remain


• From the 9 EUR we pay for discounts, marketing, product development and operational costs such as insurance, storage, etc.

So it's practically a zero-sum game , and we don't pay ourselves a wage. And that's great, because we do it out of passion !

3D printing & accessories : With top-quality PLA filaments and a printer, our purchase costs are €11 (one mini takes 7 hours). Add €6 for accessories (grinder, paper, fire, etc.).
Fulfillment & Shipping: Includes labor costs for equipping, packing & shipping.
Tools: Fees for payment processing, web & shop hosting, and other programs.
Tax: 19% VAT.

Care & usage instructions

Please follow these instructions to enjoy your construction site for a long time :)

• Avoid temperatures of >50 degrees , as this may cause slight deformation (e.g. do not leave it on the glass table in the sun)


• Not dishwasher safe


• Because of small parts and other stuff (herbs) do not keep near children
  
• Since the Mini is made of organic material, your 🥦 can touch the kit without any problems
  


• Simply wipe off normal dirt with soap and water
  


• In case of grease stains or fingerprints, ideally wipe/treat with high-proof alcohol
  


• In case of scratches or small protruding fibers , carefully burn them off with a lighter or sand them with fine sandpaper (>1500)
