Baukasten is a part-time project where quality, sustainability, and community are consistently the focus. This affects the price, for example, because we source sustainable materials, pay our helpers and artistsfairly, and prefer to do less but better.
The total cost amounts to approximately 51EUR
With a selling price of 70 EUR, approximately 19EUR remains.
From the 19EUR we pay for discounts, marketing, product development & operational costs such as insurance, warehousing, etc.
It's practically a zero-sum game , where we don't pay ourselves a salary. That's great, because we do it part-time and out of passion !

Avoid temperatures above 50 degrees Celsius , as this may cause slight deformation (e.g., do not leave it in the sun in the car).
Keep the construction kit away from children due to the small parts.
Not dishwasher safe
The product is food-safe . Contact with grass is perfectly safe.
Allergy advice : The magnets used contain nickel.
Cleaning & Care
Simply wipe away normal dirt with soap and water.
For grease stains or fingerprints, ideally wipe/treat with high-proof alcohol.
For scratches or small protruding fibers , carefully burn them off with a lighter or sand them with finesandpaper (>1500 grit).

Julio was born in Cuba and moved to Italy with his mother when he was six years old.
Influenced early on by movement and diversity, he developed a deep connection to creativity,craftsmanship, and expression.
Today he lives on Fuerteventura – a place of tranquility that shapes his view of aesthetics, rituals and what is essential.
Julio's creative work moves between fashion, identity and community.
As the founder of Monkey Fam – a creative collective of design, exchange and shared vision – he understands fashion as an expression of belonging and individuality at the same time.
His designs combine craftsmanship and attitude, aesthetics and meaning .
We are passionate smokers ourselves and have never really found good products for everyday, modern canna consumption. That's why we wanted to take matters into our own hands and create cool products for this truly wonderful community and its people, so we can all enjoy the ritual and everyday life even more.

We print on state-of-the-art printers with sustainablestartups in North Germany and Italy. We exclusively use filament made from organic cornstarch and print with solar/green electricity .
